Framework for Excellence Provider Guide
This guide provides a detailed description of the Framework for Excellence as it will be implemented in the academic year 2008/09.
It contains details of the scope of the Framework during this period, including guidance on which organisations are covered in 2008/09. It also outlines the actions to be taken by individual providers covered by the Framework in 2008/09 and provides specifications of each performance indicator, including:
• scope and definition of the indicator
• source(s) of evidence for that indicator
• method for data collection, analysis and distribution
• descriptions of the calculations used, including any weightings
• details of any exemptions from performance indicators and key performance areas
• the description of the method for calculating each provider’s overall performance rating.
