Employer Satisfaction

This is a measure of employer’s satisfaction with LSC funded training delivered by providers during each period of the Framework for Excellence.

Ratings are based on employers’ views of providers on key areas of delivery.

These key areas correspond to the core elements of the Training Quality Standard for Employer Responsiveness – in particular the ‘Respond’, ‘Deliver’, ‘Relate’ and ‘Perform’ elements.

In 2008 the activity required for completion of this PI is as follows:

  • September: The LSC will confirm with providers all of the employers that have received publicly funded  training in the previous academic year. This list will be validated using the ILR and the ‘ERDS’ unique employer identifier
  • October – December: Providers will contact all their employer customers on the above list with the survey questions – either on paper, or via a dedicated web-based portal
  • January LSC will collate responses, Providers are advised to take note of the timing of the Framework for Excellence employer survey, and to time their own quality assurance processes accordingly, i.e. not run a second employer survey during autumn 2008.
